In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF)
A complete IVF cycle involving controlled ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, laboratory fertilisation, and embryo transfer into the uterus. Suitable for a wide range of fertility challenges.
Includes ICSI where requiredIntrauterine Insemination (IUI)
A less invasive fertility treatment where prepared sperm is placed directly into the uterus at the time of ovulation. Often recommended as a first-line treatment for mild fertility issues.
Natural or stimulated cyclesFertility Assessment
A comprehensive diagnostic workup to evaluate your reproductive health. Includes hormone profiling, pelvic ultrasound, fallopian tube assessment, and male factor evaluation.

Medication-based therapy to stimulate regular ovulation in women with irregular cycles or ovulation disorders such as PCOS. Can be combined with timed intercourse or IUI.

Step by Step
The IVF Process, Explained Simply
We believe you should understand every step of your treatment. Here is a clear overview of how an IVF cycle works at Adom Suncity Hospital.
Initial Consultation & Fertility Assessment
Your journey begins with a thorough consultation with our fertility specialist. We review your medical history, discuss your goals, and order baseline investigations including hormone blood tests, ultrasound scans, and a semen analysis for your partner.
Ovarian Stimulation
You will take fertility medications (usually injections) for 8–14 days to stimulate your ovaries to produce multiple eggs. We monitor your response closely through regular ultrasound scans and blood tests, adjusting the medication as needed.
Egg Retrieval
When your follicles reach maturity, a "trigger" injection is given and eggs are collected approximately 36 hours later. The egg retrieval procedure is done under light sedation and takes about 20–30 minutes. Most patients go home the same day.
Fertilisation & Embryo Development
In our laboratory, your eggs are fertilised with sperm (from your partner or a donor) through conventional IVF or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). Fertilised eggs develop into embryos over the next 3–5 days under careful observation.
Embryo Transfer
One or more healthy embryos are selected and transferred into the uterus using a thin, soft catheter. This is a gentle procedure that does not require anaesthesia. Any additional quality embryos can be frozen for future use.
Pregnancy Test & Ongoing Support
Approximately 10–14 days after the embryo transfer, a blood test will confirm whether the treatment has been successful. Regardless of the result, our team remains available to support you, discuss outcomes, and plan your next steps.
